So, it's my mums birthday on friday and I have recently begun a new job that is paying quite well (Engineering 
) and I'm going to take her to an apple shop and buy her an Ipad 2 as she's been going on about them for ages.
My question is, I heard that new Ipad 2's come with ios5 and so don't need to be connected to a pc/laptop to set them up. Just enter itunes info and your away. Is this right?
We're a Linux household so it would be awkward to do this other than me bringing my work laptop home.
