Hi all
I'm looking at buying an iPad 2 (or an iPad 1 depending on how low 2nd hand prices may drop). I already own a HTC desire HD, which has its own internet connection and can be used as a "HTC Hotspot" to connect other devices to.
Ideally I would like to get a wifi only iPad and connect it to the net via my Desire HD's "HTC hotspot" on my commute to and from work.
I have used this method to connect my macbook pro and iPod touch to the net...but I thought I would double check to see if there is any reason why this may not be possible on the iPad 1/2 (eg, perhaps apple have only allowed the iPad to connect via iPhone 4 hotspots or something)
