Ipad 2021 64gb A13 still worth it?

My daughters 2016 Ipad Pro is very old now. She doesn't tend to use it because the battery doesn't last vet long. She now uses her MacBook Pro for most things but would like another tablet just for watching films or browsing on the sofa or in bed.

I see the 2021 base model Ipad 64gb is on offer in many places, presumably because it is pre M1.

Is this still worth buying for about £280 new or is it best avoided?

2021 was only two years ago… The 2021 base iPad was great at the time and will still be great particularly if it’s just used for web browsing and media consumption

It's not a good iPad, but not because of the chip. The screen is quite poor because it's not laminated and is on older tech compared to the Air/Pro models. You can noticeably see the gap between the display and the glass.
