iPad 2022 pc connection issue

Just purchased a new iPad 2022 10th gen.

I see the connection on the bottom is different to the existing iPad we have from 2016.

Equally I do not have a usb dongle to connect to the pc to do a backup and restore.

Can it be done wirelessly these days?

Blue tooth is on but nothing is happening...

Why no just use iCloud? But if not you'd need to use a USB-C cable to the PC.

Ive never connected any iphone or ipad to a PC for initial setup, for the iphone when I upgrade I just use the transfer from old to new option you get and for an ipad i just use the icloud backup option of the one its replaced.

Didn't the iPad come with one? But just use iCloud or direct transfer from the old iPad, much easier and faster.

Come with C-C I think, so maybe PC has no USB-C
