Bought an ipad 9th gen 2021, might have an issue with the screen, not sure, so thought I'd ask.
Anyway, in the top left corner (portrait mode), just slightly under and to the right of the date, there is a dark line/shadow, about 1-2cm. It's not dead pixels, the colours are displaying fine, but there's this dark spot. It's more visable on brighter colours. It's not sharp, like a clear line, more like a smudged shadowy area. It's like if you drew a line with a pencil, and then slightly smudged it. I tried wiping it and nothing, so it's definitely not on the screen.
I'm guessing it's not meant to be there and I'll be sending it back for a replacement, but I thought I'd check it's not something that's on them all or common and most people just don't notice, as I don't want to waste time and it's the same on them all. So yeah, anyone with one, no shadowy faint dark spot/smudge in the top left just under the date in portrait mode?
Can't do a pic as my camera can't focus on the screen properly and capture it, it's clear to the eyes though.

Edit: Just a quick edit so it doesn't have to be a double post. Swapped, new one doesn't have it, so it's not meant to be there and old one was faulty.
