Ipad air 2

Hey all,

Looking at getting an ipad air 2, for my own personal use and hopefully as a bit of an educational aid for my boy also. Would this be too big for him to use to practice letters/numbers etc?

It'll be the first ipad I've ever owned so hopefully i'll have made a good choice if I get one

I would say the big screen will be an advantage, having the larger screen over the iPad mini will certainly make the numbers/letters etc bigger and clearer.

I think you have made a good choice, just be careful with it! Don't want him throwing it around!

I'd just like a couple of apps to reinforce what he's learning at school We still do stuff with good old pens/pencils and paper etc but I've seen some fantastic apps for learning on the iphone/ipad which is something I don't think android offers to the same level.

Should also ask, how are they for browsing forums etc I'm tempted to replace my laptop with it for the occasional browsing session that I do when not at the desktop!

Just a heads up, the Ipad Air 2 is currently £70 cheaper on Amazon than on the Apple site.

And you can lock them down to just allow access to safe applications for when you're not around.

You can? If so that's great, ideally would like to block safari and YouTube etc if possible
