My son is having his 5th birthday this month. We have an original ipad mini that is on its last legs (broken screen, speakers are shot too it seems).
He has also been given lots of work to do during the lockdown from his school, and he likes playing lego star wars on the mini. It does struggle to run Lego star wars at times.
So im thinking of upgrading to the new mini or the 2019 ipad air (A12) - there is only an approx £80-£100
difference (depending on where you buy it from).
I would like it to run games well as well as do all the school work.
Is there any reason to get the mini over the ipad air ?? is it worth the extra money?
