iPad - best spreadsheet

Hi,

Is "Numbers" the best spreadsheet available for the iPad - I'm not too concerned about compatability with Excel as I will exclusively use the relevant spreadsheets on my iPad and iPhone, and revert to my laptop for anything regarding Excel.

Anyone have any other suggestions of applications to use?

Can't suggest any others, there has been rumors for a while now though that Microsoft Office will come to the iPad later in the year IIRC.

Or use CloudOn - its a web based excel

edit : or rather MS Office run over the web

Well face it, how many people have iPads...? How many people will swap to a Windows tablet...?

Apple dominate the tablet market, it would make sense IMO for Microsoft to do this.

I've been using Dropbox and Cloudon but find Excel fiddley, ie selecting areas of the worksheet, dragging formulas to copy etc.

Would anyone else suggest an alternative? Ie numbers?

I got QuickOffice HD which I picked up when it was on sale and it is pretty good for the few little bits I've needed it for but when I was reading up it seemed to have a lot of good features.
