iPad Case with Keyboard Dock?

Does the official iPad case allow the iPad to fit on the keyboard dock?

If not, any recommendations?

Nope. Stupid really. I'm thinking of cutting my case to allow it to fit.

There is only 1 keyboard duck

The Apple case doesn't work.

The only thing that you might get away with are probably skins.

Even if the BACK allows it, the bottom part where it sticks out about 5mm will stop it docking properly with the connector.

It is annoying really, but it's the same with most ipod/iphone cases as well - although I have got my iPhone 4 with bumper to sit snugly in official docks

For my iPad w/ official case, I use the Griffin A-Frame with Air Display as a display extender, or the bluetooth keyboard when I want to type on it.

I was looking for a slim case to mainly protect the back from scratches as at the minute I only put it on a mouse mat or cushion!

but still allow me to use a dock if and when I get one. iSkin do some nice cases but they are a bit pricey (iSkin VU looks nice) also looked at Incipio cases as they seem a fair price and get good reviews.

In the end I ordered a SwitchEasy Nude :eek:

anyone else have one? and dock wise, is the original apple dock the best to get??

That's the Speck Candyshell. Looks like the iPhone ones but iPad size.

Saw some in Purple Shirts of all places for £24.99 (i think).

Bit of a bump, but I just took a pair of scissors to my apple case following this..

Now it fits perfectly, cut it a little bit too far but it doesn't impact the stability or feel of the case.
