Am I correct in thinking that the last iPad to use the 30 pin connector was the iPad 3?

Does anyone know of a dock for a new iPad (or Mini) that has an SPDIF connector?

Check out the arcam rdock-uni. It may be totally OTT for your needs but it does have the port you are looking for!

Argh! Not perfect! a. it's discontinued and b. it has a 30 pin connector which is no good. I need a lightning connector.

The connector is lightning but you can plug in a 30pin device via a USB port on the back.
