Went to use my iPad this morning and it was showing 'No Service' where it'd normally work fine. Tried a Three SIM in it and it works fine so I rang DiDa and the person on the phone was very strange but basically said that they had a "technical fault that would take a long time to fix" and to ask the reseller for a refund as they couldn't replace the SIM cards.

I notice that they've pulled them off sale so it seems like it was all too good to be true and I think I'll just go with Three directly on their £15/month 10GB plan.

Does anybody else's DiDa SIM still work?

Interesting!

I've not actually used my Dida SIM yet as I'm currently waiting for my month's Giffgaff credit to expire before starting to use the Dida one. Got confused before I think and thought I was already using it but I'm not.

I've just mailed the seller and asked what the deal is. He asked for the SIM number to check and has just now replied. He didn't say what the problem was specifically but just apologised and has offered me two options. Either a full refund or a "T-Mobile SIM with 12 months unlimited Internet and emails" for £40.

This second option sounds too good to be true surely? Unlimited Internet for a year for £40!?

Mine stopped working aswell, he has offered a full refund. It seems the deal was to good to be true, I am going back to Three 3gig for 3 months sims from Amazon. Ordered a couple incase these dry up !

Ah balls, I was about to go this route on a new ipad. 3gig per month would have been about right for me I think. I suppose the three sims for 90 days 3gig limit isn't too bad a deal.

The other option is to get a 32gb one on two year contract for £25 a month and £229 upfront. Total cost of £829 but that gives me 15gb of data per month. So minus the cost of the pad the data for two years will cost me £250.

Opted for the refund and ordered one of the Three 3GB/3-month SIMs instead. Tbh I only use around a gig a month so should last me for most of three months anyway, making it much the same price as the Dida one overall.

Does anyone know if these SIMs support tethering on the iPad3? Not critical but would be handy at times.

What seller did you use? I sent a message to the seller I got it from earlier and they haven't replied yet :(

I did get a reply in the end and he did give me a full refund.

Same, refunded me.

It's a shame these didn't work out and apologies to anyone else I put onto these SIMs but at least the seller is being up-front about it and giving no-quibble refunds.
