iPad does have limitations

As good at the iPad is and I suppose this issue goes for most tablets, what I find very limiting about them is something as simple as online ordering forms. The wife has been hogging our iMac for the last few nights and as I couldn't be bothered getting the Laptop out I thought I would do the online ordering on the iPad. I cannot believe how much you can miss a mouse and keyboard. By the time I had filled in my address and all the other details i.e. credit card numbers, expiry dates, and miss hit the radio buttons any number of times I was ready to scream (and my cup of teal had gone cold).

I'll stick to consuming media rather than doing anything productive on it from now on.

Have to agree, online banking and ordering stuff online all works spot on for me

I didn't say it didn't work, it was though a slow and laborious process when compared to using a keyboard and mouse. One of the forms in particular had numerous radio buttons which even when enlarged were not the easiest to select.

Don't have any issue... I don't even own a laptop any more. If I really need to input huge amounts of text and can't be bothered to do it on the iPad, I have a keyboard case that I picked up for £20 or similar.

Horses for courses I suppose. I'm typing up dozens of long complicated documents both at home and at work in any one week, so not having something like my iMac or a Laptop at a push is not an option. As said earlier I don't really use a mobile phone (Nokia 3310) so have no experience of using a smartphone to translate to a Tablet.

I only really use my iPad for browsing, emails and mirroring content onto my ATV2. Not even bought an APP in the time I've owned it.
