ipad from apple shop or argos?

The one in belfast is always busy and you sorta have to standabout to get served, the CS seems sorta uniform too. But oh well they were alright.

I bought a 32bg wifi black today from argos.
Actually a 3rd option was to buy it from the duty free in gatwick when I flew out the country this week. I didn't realise the ipad cant be used until activated via a pc. I would have been absolutely fuming if it had been stuck in my suitcase all holiday unable to do anything!

not much difference as long as you have warranty not much to worry.

Warranty is worldwide anyway too, so there isn't even any benefit to the Apple Store. Especially if, like yourself you knew you would be buying one as opposed to wondering if the iPad was "right for you' =]

Once iOS5 is here you won't need to activate/sync it with a pc at all.
