iPad, Galaxy Tab or Nexus?

I don't know anything about tablets and just want something to surf and send/receive emails with. Which would be best for the job? Thanks.

just got the new 2013 Nexus 7 and it's a nice bit of kit and speedy too. For the price it's well worth it and easily the best Android tablet on the market at the moment

really love my Ipad, I brought it just for emails and watching movies on the train but use it so much more now, and you really cant beat the apple app store..

iPad mini IMO, unless you want to watch lots of films then the Nexus 7 may edge it as it has a 16x10 aspect ratio which makes it a bit rubbish for web browsing IMO.

I'm not a fan boy but why on earth would you choose that over the new nexus!? It's massively over priced for what it is and the screen is even worse than the firstgen nexus.

I have the nexus 7 2013, its light, very slim even slimmer then my Samsung galaxy 3 phone, 2 GB memory, excellent screen quality which to date makes other tablets outdated,

Kenneth.

Because it's Apple, and people will buy whatever crap they bring out...joking :D

Funny thing is I just saw the preview for the new Ipad...as usual, the focus is all about "looks" like the "fashion product" it is, and people getting excited despite not a single detail mentioned about the spec. I'll have my arms crossed, awaiting to laugh when the CPU turns out to be a dual-core AGAIN, since every other smartphone/tablet and their mothers have already moved onto quad-core :p

To be fair, Apple are laughing economically. I too find it absurd how people fall for their reality distortion but their brand recognition is second to none and for some people that's enough.
