Ipad in car charger

Needing a 12v in car charger for my mini

Have one I've used for ages that is fine for my iPhone but when I pug my ipad in I get type not charging message although it does charge extremely slowly


Problem is that on heavy use ie GPS it draws power quicker than It charges



So I guess I need a beefier charger anyone have any recommendations?

I have a motormonkey which I love as its nice and compact, although its only 0.7A so again, very slow when using an iPad.

You want 2.1A output for speedy iPad charging. I have heard good things about the Griffin PowerJolt.
