This morning I updated my iPad to iOS 5. I ended up leaving my PC on overnight to do it but then discovered that some software had decided to reboot my PC after an update and it didn't go through
Anyway, when I woke up this morning I started it again. It took a backup and told me to transfer purchases etc and upgraded to iOS 5. After it was done my iPad had everything back on it, but then for some reason it popped up again telling me I had purchases to transfer and that if I said no, they'd be removed. So I clicked yes, it removed them all anyway and now they're gone along with all their settings. The backup from prior to the upgrade has disappeared, and now if I right-click on my iPad and try and transfer purchases, iTunes just says "Transferring purchases to iPad, waiting to apply settings" and doesn't stop.
Anyone know if I can get my app data back as now all my games and apps behave as if they're brand new. The backup file is nowhere on my PC. I've checked the app data\roaming folder in Windows. Anyone ever had this happen to them?
