iPad Magic Keyboard with case?

Hey guys,

I got my iPad today for my golf setup..now im seriously considering selling my retina MacBook and getting a Magic Keyboard for the iPad, so I can use in my golf net and around the house.

I use email, Spotify and internet browsing so the 12" mb is almost a "luxury " device for me.

So my question, I have a protective thin case on the iPad, can it still connect to the mk with this on? Or does it need to be naked?

What kind of case do you have?

To be honest with you though it fits perfectly into the MK naked. I wouldn’t want to not be able to utilise the MK to it’s full potential by having it in a case.

I’ve dropped my ipad in the MK onto my flooring from the breakfast bar and it didn’t damage the device just put a little squish if you will on the corner of the case. So unless you’re super clumsy it’ll be fine.

Yeah, I think I will get one and when I don’t need it run naked…as it will be in and around the house 99% if the time.

@chaparral the case came today, and it works great with the magnets on the Magic Keyboard. Good quality bit of kit!
