iPad Mail App - Forum Notification Link Issues

This is really just an annoyance more than a big problem, but I was curious to know if anyone gets the same issue.

Basically I use my iPads Mail application to view my Gmail emails, some of which are forum reply notifications for this forum. Using the links to view the threads when I want to respond to. However a small amount of these links are not valid, only half is blue and useable and therefore don't work.

It seems to have something to do with a missing = in the link.

Anyone else get this issue?

I had a bunch of notifications over the weekend and they worked fine on my iPad.

Strange, here are some images, edited for obvious reasons. You can see the one that doesn't work is missing an = in the URL and is only clickable part way along meaning it doesn't work.

Do you see the same if you log into GMail in a browser? If it does then it's not an issue with the Mail.

Nope, Gmail direct and Outlook work fine.

Have you tried removing the account from Mail and then re-adding it?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Gmail accounts should be added as "Microsoft Exchange" is that still the case?

You don't have to but if you do then you can set the email to push rather than pull which is easier on the battery.

Thanks for the info. Just added it, the previous e-mails with the issue still have the issue. I'll see how it fairs with the new ones.

Nope, same issues with recent e-mails. I even did a Reset the other day (for other issues) so it could be related to those.
