iPad Mini from Marketplace

Any drawbacks to buying an iPad Mini, presumably imported, from the Marketplace? Seller has very good reviews and fulfilled by A so everything should be ok but what about warranty? Could we just take it into an Apple store if there were issues?

If it has warranty left on it then its fine, Apples warranty is world wide. Only draw back is the SoC is getting on now, its starting to age and I don't think it will really go pass iOS8.
