Need to connect an iPad Mini to a projector (NEC VT695). Back of the projector has VGA, DVI and composite;

I've already got one of these;

The Lightning to VGA adapter is about £40 but I can find lots of 30-pin to VGA, 30-pin to DVI and 30 pin to composite miles cheaper.

Can I buy a 30 pin to VGA/DVI/Composite and use the Apple lightning to 30 pin adapter or will that not work?

Looking for the cheapest way to connect the iPad Mini to the projector as it's only needed for one presentation.

I would buy the Lightning to VGA Adapter and then sell it on afterwards. And don't hotlink :p

It's not for me, the client probably doesn't want to be bothered buying and then selling. If they have to spend £40 then so be it, I was just hoping it could be done for half that with the 30 pin adapters.

Cant you just get DVI/HDMI adaptor?? I assume the mac mini has HDMI??? There like £2

A Mac Mini might have HDMI but that would mean buying a Mac Mini for £500~, I'm looking for the cheapest way to connect an iPad Mini to a projector.

This adaptor lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analogue audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.

If the DVI input supports HDCP and HDTV resolutions then you can use a basic adapter.

You will need an existing Wi-Fi network to do this though.
