iPad problem

My iPad seems to be crashing quite a bit of late. I'll be on the web or playing a game and suddenly the app will just end, no warning and it seems to happen after around half an hour. When this happens I have no more than one or two apps open, so surely it can't be a RAM problem?

I'm just worried really as the warranty runs out on Friday, so should I take to Apple and ask to replace it as if it breaks in a week time, well I'm buggered.

Any thoughts or potential remedies?

Based on the little info provided it's pretty difficult to help you with any meaningful or specific suggestions.

Which iPad? Which version of iOS? Jailbroken? All apps or specific? Are they up to date? etc.

Take it in anyway while the original warranty is still valid but I'd definitely consider buying Applecare to extend the warranty another year anyway. If you search around you can usually find it cheaper than from Apple - I paid £40 for mine.

Could easily be something wrong if there is something wrong with the OS. However, considering it ends today, definitely pop in and explain the situation. Put a fresh install on it and leave it blank, and tell them that you did a fresh install before and the problem still occurs (ie. you've done another fresh install to wipe everything after this first fresh install).
