iPad rpg recommendations

Despite owning a MS Surface I've finally admitted defeat and ordered an iPad 4.

Sky Go, Sonos and the lack of decent games has finally driven me to move to a platform they're supported.

So...

I wouldn't mind a few rpgs, turn based or action. Did I read Baldurs gate has been rereleased and is it any good?

I do like a good tower defence game, any recommendations?

Also this is my first apple product, anything else I need to know? What's the best way to rip a dvd to it etc?
 
Baldurs Gate has been released. Not sure if its any good as the g/f won't let me download it on her iPad. But its got Baldurs & Gate in the title - what's not to like! Get it, its only £6.99 (I think) I'm sure it'll keep you entertained for a few hours at least.

Secret of Mana also. I think there is a decent helping of Final Fantasy games too

Make sure you get Clash of Clans - I believe OcUK has a clan, though i'm not in it.

Hunters 2 and Aliens Vs Humans (X-COM ripoff) both pretty good.

The controls for Baldurs Gate are a bit irritating. I found it put me off enjoying it and I just stuck to the Mac version.

Tower Defence game: Fieldrunners 2 is the best out there. Brilliant fun. :)

RPGs: Final Fantasy III and IV are on there with V on the way. Plus Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasty Tactics, The World Ends With You, Lunar: Silver Star Story, Chaos Rings and Infinity Blade.

Lots of choice really. :D

Cheers! I didn't know Chrono Trigger was on; I've never actually played it so I think I've found my first purchase. :D
