However!
A friend of mine has just got a brand new one. while she was setting it up it started to exhibit some sort of screen corruption. (I haven't seen this personally, we have only spoken on the phone this evening, but she has shown me via skype)
It is quite clearly a cycle, a couple of seconds being OK, then a couple of seconds with horizontal lines across the screen then back to being OK! (Rinse and repeat)
Obviously the big question is, is this a hardware or software problem?
Should she send it back? (It was a gift, who gets to send it back anyway??) or is it something that can be fixed via software updates?
Sorry if this seems a bit vague, but I am hoping that if this is a "Known" issue, others will have seen it and that there will be a "Known" solution.
