Hi everyone.

I'm pitching an idea to my boss next Friday about using Google docs and Ipads to collect student data at graduate career's fairs instead of pen and paper. An issue im having is physical security, and trying to find a method of locking down the device with a Kensington lock or similar.

I know that the Ipad doesn't have a port to attach Kensington locks so some kind of case will be needed; which I know exist as I saw people with the locks around their waist last week. (I forgot to ask them where and how much they cost).

Can anyone help out? Im going to the apple store tonight to ask but ocuk's help would be great. :)

The biggest problem im going to have is buying them. I will have to go via my procurement team, so buying from a reputable store would help out a lot (email me if it breaks ocuk rules)

cheers.

TL,DR, help me find a ipad 1 or 2 case that can have a lock attached.

sorry I make it seem like I didn't do any googling at all which I did!

I did see that case from that shop however my first impression of the site was that its dodgy. I shall have to take a walk into their shop and see for my self.

I was just after some input from ocuk for better/other alternatives. :)

Im not saying purchase it directly from that store, there are other stores selling that exact case, have a look around and check some reviews to see its safe.

Not sure on the price or when they are available in the UK, you could try contacting Kensington with the product code.

They where on pre-order in the US for $50 for the standard and $70 for the kickstand version.

So im guessing they would be a similar price for the UK £45 (standard) and probs about £60/65 for the kickstand one
