Hi guys seen a few places selling iPads for 320 when the apple store sells them for 399 minimum.

The sites say they are new what do you think should I be wary or are there really places selling them cheaper?

I was a little wary the other week when buying an iPad Mini.

There were sellers on Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon) selling the 64Gb for £270 which is a cracking price. Given the saving I took the plunge and chose one of the sellers, eLife, with 98% feedback.

I thought it might be a US version given the price but when I received it, it was brand new sealed in cellophane wrap and had a UK plug inside the box.

110% happy with my purchase and the saving :D

Hong Kong grey import perhaps? They use a 3-pin plug also.

Not sure what the warranty position is with grey imports. Macs are fine as they are international.

I picked up an iPad Air 32GB WiFi for £382 including delivery. Apple sell for £479 so a decent saving.

It's US but came with a UK adapter. 1 year warranty active from the moment I registered.

I've just picked up an iPad Mini Retina 16GB from Tesco Outlet via the bay for £229 warranty sits with them for a year but after getting the device (which appears mint other than a tiny dent, which I only noticed at a certain angle in light) I checked the serial number with Apple and it's in care until the 22nd of July 2015 so all in all I'm really pleased with it :) Boxed with all the bits new

Deals to be had

I just ordered an iPad Air from Amazon for £320, I do feel dirty for returning to the darkside for my tablet needs :D, and it took me 2 days of research, to believe this is genuine. Also it's delivered from Amazon via Prime so all good.
