iPad wifi

Hi there, had my iPad 2 around a month or so now, but lately whenever I close the smart case and return to safari, when I try load a site it does nothing, Why? I have to turn wifi off in settings then turn on again for the Internet to work.

Any help greatly appreciated.

It is yeah, it can happen as you say, 5 mins later or 5 hours later, it wouldn't matter. Oh dear, I wouldn't know where to begin
