iPad2 Dead Pixel

Guys,

Does anyone know if there is a definitive instruction from Apple with regards to dead/stuck pixels.

I have just discovered a single dead pixel on my iPad2.

Not that helpful, most companys have dead pixel policys which is what i was enquiring about.

Its several months old and it has just appeared but want to know what Apples policy is, so that I do not waste my time taking it back to be turned away.

No real definitive answer there, apart from take it into Apple and see. You might be able to get an exchange considering Apple pride themselves on quality.

I've just noticed one on my Ipad1, bought in January in New York. However I can't take it to Apple, closest store is in Glasgow and i'm on an Island far far away

Think I'll just have to put up with it.

Or I could nag the wife say that its 'broken' and get an Ipad 2

Think I will leave it for the moment, running the IOS5 Beta and can't be bothered with the questions on whether I have a developer account or not etc.

I had one on my iPad 2. I took it back and they replaced it on the spot. This was in the Birmingham store in the bull ring.
