ipad2 jailbreakme.com is up running

I think something went slightly wrong when I tried it. Something about fetching failed, I'm not sure exactly what it was.

I saved my SHSH blobs before jailbreaking, now I'm going to restore through iTunes and try again. Since it was on 4.3.3 before though, and now it's still on 4.3.3, do I have to restore the SHSH blobs or can I just restore without bothering?

No need for blobs yet as Apple is still signing 4.3.3 as it is the current firmware.:p

A failed fetch won't require a complete do over. Just load Cydia, go to the Changes tab and hit Reload.

I've jailbroken my iPhone via Jailbreakme and I can't see the fuss. Yes it is very easy to do but Cydia seems full of crap. Full of crap that wants to charge silly prices like $7.99 - I think not.

Still very easy to do. I'll have a play around but like I said I'm not impressed.

Once cydia is on you don't need to do anything root can be accessed then.

Aye, I think Jailbreak stuff is pretty nasty too.

Don't have to use cydia if you don't want to, not everyone jailbreaks it for the free apps you know. :D

Apart from tethering without paying the carriers rip-off fees what other reason would there be?

Themes? I've tried a few of them and even they seem amateurish. In fact most haven't even work properly.

Upgraded to 4.3.3 and JB'ed on my 3GS, went better than expected.

It's quite nice to be able to access your phone over SSH\FTP, it allows me to upload music and videos to it over Wifi. I think I'll give the themes/tweaks a miss however, as I quite like the default theme. :)
