Ipad2 os5 browser issue

When forum browsing i could scroll diractly to the top by holding my finger at the black bar across the top of the screen, beside the wifi logo, that area, now updated to os5, this ability seems to be gone, it was like superfast scroll, very useful on ocuk.
Any new way for this to work?

This feature still work on the ios5 well it does on my iPad 2 I still tap of top of screen to scroll back to top of page

Works fine here too, but stay away from any toolbar buttons because they're over-sensitive, and make sure you do actually just tap. Moving your finger could be misinterpreted as a gesture (like dragging down the notification area).

Best solution - tap somewhere near the clock.

I just tried it and just tapping the black bar scrolls to the top fine.

Hmm, i see.
I think ai may have been holding previous,y and it scrolled up until release, I note that a tab now takea me right back up to the top, which was what I was wanting anyway.
