My wife has reported to me that when purchasing an inapp game for the child, that the apple billing statement sent to her email actually contains three purchases. One for the app concerned and two for a storybook app for purchases of new stories.

The pad is set to ask for the apple password with each purchase.
Should such a thing have been possible?

My understanding would be that even with rapid switching to another app, one should have been asked for the store password again? And a new email generated for that purchase also?

The email states 'within app' beside each of the three purchases, and below each is the report a problem link, clicking this brings a statement, 'safari cannot open the link as it is invalid'.

Sounds most odd. Anyone had this? I believe it occurred prior to the update to ios6, and we've never had anything like purchases mess before.

Hi, you need to disable inapp purchases via Restrictions.
You can ask to get them refunded if you call and speak to Apple

Yes, our inapp is set to ask for password, so what we can't understand is how on a single bill from apple, can you have three purchases, one from the app the purchase was made, and two separate items from an alternative app, surely any such purchase should have generated a separate bill for starters, and additionally required the password reentered.

Itunes groups purchases on invoices I get about 3 a week and sometimes it's for purchases on different days not sure how they group them.
