I bought the missus an iPad 2 64gb Wifi for christmas. Its pretty much never out of her hands, but we have an issue where the wifi keeps losing connection. The wifi icon shows full signal, yet after about 10 minutes browsing, Safari will tell her the server has been disconnected. Plenty of other devices use my wifi without problems. These include a Laptop, Panasonic TV, PS3, Wii and my android phone. I have even surfed the web via the PS3, whilst she is browsing on the pad. I can continue browsing without issue, whereas the pad will always drop out.

Router is a DGN1000, which I know is not the best, but it was free and is streets ahead of the Livebox it replaced. I have security set at WPA2. Wireless is transmitting b/g/n.

Turning wifi on and off on the pad fixes the problem, for 10 to 15 mins, then it will happen again. I know there is a huge thread on the apple forums about this, but wondered if anyone here has had similar issues or found any kind of "fix". I have told here to return it to the Apple store. Are they likely to offer a swap as its only 2 months old? You can almost guarantee it will work fine at the store.

I've got the 64GB iPad Wifi version and I get connectivity issues too, my fix is to reset network settings.

I only seem to get connectivity issues when trying you connect to my iPhone 4's 3G as a personal Hot Spot
