Picked up a wifi ipad3 for the wife, it's destined for a hard life of facebook and ebay, but ....
When people not on her friend list send her a message, it gets sent to the subfolder "other" in messages, but she can't see the folder on the ipad, if she opens the laptop it's there, if she replies to the message on the laptop, it moves to the active messages folder which she can then see on the ipad, but until then she doesn't know there is a message waiting.
Any fixes for this? Is there a different version of the app to use? (she's currently clearing her stockpile of prams and related gubbins but people are messaging her for details and she's not getting back to them)
