IPAQ help - IE won't open.

My PDA, IPAQ 4150 will not open Internet Explorer.

It froze last night and since then it won't open IE.
It opens for 1 or 2 seconds then closes.

Tried resetting, off/on, leaving overnight, and still the same.

Any help appreciated!
(Not sure if this is the right forum area for a PDA?)

try opera for ppc

it is much better

i had a similar prob with my ipaq 2410 and ie - a hard reset seemed to sort it out

Just do a hard reset.

I used opera, but there was no layout options, leaving all the text and pictures all over the place, whereas in ie you have 3 different options. You cant turn pics off costing you money for all the bandwidth you use, it takes longer to load, and you have to pay for it

Well if you do go the Opera Route. .

And yes I'd do a hard reset. This will delete everything on the ipaq memory. The Memory card should be okay though. So back it all up and away you go.

Yeah Hard reset is my last option. Really don't want to do that (and should not have to)

Rather find the problem than skip over it.

I've read it might need the cookies/internet history clearing as it may be too clogged up - but no idea how to do it?

Its in ie options.

Well think i have fixed this now.

(Could not get to IE options as IE would not stay open!)

Allocated more memory to the programs running. Seems to have worked.
