Iphone 11 wifi problems

Hi

A couple of times a day the wifi on my phone will 99% drop out, when this happens i run a speed test and gives download speeds of less than 1mb. The only way to solve this has been to restart the phone and then i get 100+mb.

Has anyone had a similar issue? I am on ios 16.3

Virgin router. I've never had a problem with any device until recently, my mac and work laptop are fine but the iphone will drop out at least twice a day.

This is in a 2 bed flat hence virgin router has always been sufficient.

Might be channel interference. Apple devices are super fussy with Wi-Fi. Is the 2g and 5g on the same SSID? Have you tried separating them?

Yea they are on the same SSID, not tried to seperate but will do.
This has only become a problem in the last few months though, maybe it was a software update on the phone that did it.
