Yeah I forget about that benefit!

Though my AirPod Pro Gen2s have lighting so I still have it in my life to some degree

The current Samsung fold is £1799 and they're on 7th Gen! And it cost £1900 when it was first released with a plethora of issues iirc.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first apple foldable phone will be more in the range of £2500.

I think £1800 would be my limit. As trading in a few devices would get that down to a palatable £12/300. But that would be my limit I think

I’ve got the 17 pro max but don’t feel the need to change, once you backup and restore, the 18 pro max will feel the same.

Yeah I've long stopped upgrading year-on-year because as you say. Once you've got it out of the box and done your restore the phone feels identical and the improvements are so incremental you don't really notice it.

I'll be changing from a 14 Pro though so everything should feel like a decent jump
