2G customers wont get MMS or modem tethering. Think they get everything else though

Dunno why - it's equally as good a question as, "why didn't they have MMS at launch?"

According to Apple it doesn't have the right radio chips to send bigger files via MMS :S

Am I right in thinking that the iPhone 2G will get everything the iPhone 3G gets except MMS and the Stereo Bluetooth headphone support?
I'm considering getting am iPhone 3G at some point, but for the moment I'm still quite happy with the 2G
I'm in a similar position. I've had my 2g about a year and while I'm happy I'd be even happier with a 3GS.
MMS is no big deal as there's already ways around that, but the better camera and the lighter weight are tempting me.

Well check the Apple website where they compare the 3G and the 3G, imagine an iPhone 2G to the left, and remove the features we've mentioned
