Behind you... Naked!
I was given an ipod a while back.

I dug it out today, and for some reason, it still works, and so, why not have a play about with it, I thought.

It does have 16GB so thats nice, I should get plenty of songs onto that, but I have happened on 2 issues.

Firstly, the 3.5mm headphone Jack is iffy. The audio is shorting and I am only getting a muffled Mono sound out if it, unless I press hard on it, and then its clear.

So, I was wondering... Can you get some adapter that I can plop onto the main connector, that will allow me to once again play the music through headphones?

The second issue, I am not THAT concerned about, is well... iTunes?

I mean come on... Do I have to go into any details?

On Linux, there are a couple of options, but what the plan is, is that my daughter ( who annoyingy has been using Linux for years now, has only recently gone and installed Windows just cos her iPhone wanted iTunes ) now wants to use her iPhone 4s with her PC but updating it is absolutely disgustingly slow... Its simply not funny.

Is there any reason behind this, or are iphones and ipods really that sickeningly slow and pathetic?

Yes you can get adapters to use earphones with larger connectors in the recessed socket on the 3G/3GS.

I used to Wi-Fi sync my iTunes to my iPhone, and more recently I use iTunes Match. When I was syncing using iTunes I didn't have any issues.
