Hello,

Got my iphone 3Gs yesterday, and I have charged it up now for the first time (about 2 hours it takes - from very cold full drain)

Now then, I'm assuming it doesn't "carry on charging", as there's nothing to charge, but will it degrede battery performance in any way - if left on the charger WHILST FULLY CHARGED. I ask this because I had an Ipod 2nd Gen 6 months ago, and liked to listed to it in bed, or in a place were i "could" plug it in and not **USE** the batteries at this time, but the "mains" if you like. I read thishttp://www.apple.com/batteries/ also

Cheers:)

I wouldn't worry about it, charge it when you want to and don't stress about it. Mine goes on the charger when I get home and comes off the following morning. It's done that since I got it and I did the same with the previous model. I noticed no battery degradation.
