Iphone 3G Error (1015) When Restoring, Help?

Hi,

I wanted to update my Iphone 3G 16GB Black, I downloaded latest version of Itunes, Then proceeded to update, When that failed the Iphone just kept on screen displaying connect to ITunes, The Itunes program said it is in restore mode and will need to be restored i pressed restore and it seems to restore until an error comes up (1015) i have tried this many times and im worried as i dont know what to do now.

Any help on this please, just want to restore it, its not unlocked or anything.

you need to change hosts file to point to cydia server instead of the apple check it does to verify the firmware etc

.. just google it it does show how to for both pc and mac..

I just re-installed using custom firmware,it did the trick. Thank you though.
