I have recently noticed on my iphone 3g, on the side where the black plastic casing meets the chrome frame, has started to separate. This has also led to particles being on the underside of the screen which is very annoying.

Would I be able to do anything about this such as a warranty claim? If so what would be the best course of action to take?

Thanks in advance.

02 (if you bought it there) will exchange it, no questions asked.

You can also go direct to Apple and they'll do the same, but you'll have to send it off.

Call 02 and they send one out next-day delivery if you moan.

I bought it from the Apple store, so would I be better taking it back to there

A mate went to the O2 shop in town when he started seeing stuff behind his screen, not 100% sure if the plastic was coming away from the chrome, but they swapped it out withouy a hassle.
