iPhone 3g with iplayer and YouTube?

Could an iPhone owner confirm if sites such as YouTube and iplayer work over the 3g signal? YouTube works over edge on my v1 but it's shocking quality! How does the 3g compare?!

EDGE is poor, it's pretty slow.

Edit: iPlayer can only be watched over Wi-Fi by the way.

Edit 2: Youtube is nice and fast though.

Ahh cheers. Just trying to justify upgrading to the 3G. Cant really find a good enough reason as yet! I spend enough time on the net without having it in my pocket all the time too!
