Hi People,

Going to the states, is it worth me buying an iPhone there? Are they locked like over here?? Will it be cheaper?

I was just wondering, I definately want one you see, but would rather have an unlocked one if they are unlocked in the states...

Don't think you can do this any more, well not until they start selling pay as you go ones. They will want you to activate it in-store now, so you can't get away with it.

Plus all new ones will be V2 software, which hasn't been cracked YET

You will have to take out an AT&T contract.. So no you can't.
