Iphone 3GS cant use - what can I do?

Hi all,

My mother in law has a high tarif and upgraded her phone to an iphone 3GS with Vodafone Ireland.

She hates the phone and has gone back to her old phone and gave me her iphone.

I am on Asda mobile in England and it wont let me use it. What can I do?

Nothing

vodafone will not unlock the phone to another network untill the contract expires.

either that or get a vodafone PAYG sim.
