Iphone 3GS Issue

Hi all, I've had my work Iphone now for about 5months, its actually second hand from another guy in the office that never used it.

The phones been great until the other day, any calls I make the person on the other end can't hear me at all however I can hear there fine. I would think the mic is broken however recording voice memos works fine!

The issue came up the other day however after a plug in and a rest its was fine... until today nothing changed no updates or anything and its stopped again.

Getting it sent away is a no no aswell as our company has put a stop to all phones etc so its make do with what you have unfortunately

I think I may have just fixed it by pressing the cover together really hard... i noticed that there was a fraction of a gap between the front and back pushed together and Bobs your uncle (he may not be) but it worked lol.

This may be useful for someone else too hopefully!

Check the two screws in the bottom of the phone (either side of the dock connector). The 3GS case is a 2-piece design (the screen and circuit boards being one and the back the other). In other words, what you're saying 'fixed it' doesn't really make any sense.
