iPhone 3GS issues

Hello all,

This is my first Apple device and i love it. Unfortunately im having a few relatively minor troubles. First and most importantly, iTunes seems to crash after adding music to the phone during the sync phase. I have to manually shut down iTunes and then restart.

Secondly, the app icons seem to get screwed up from time to time either having the wrong icon or just a grey square.

Any ideas on solutions for these?

Try taking it back to an apple store, I've heard that they are very happy and quick to replace faulty units, and will swap you for a new one straight away. You could always try a restore though.

Also having another issue with it staying connected via bluetooth to my car PC :confused:

Are you certain iTunes actually crashes after you put music on it? I've just put music on mine and thought it had crashed; instead I went to the toilet and when I came back it was doing its "determining gapless playback information". I guess it was gathering the necessary information to do it for 1,000 songs. Leave it for 5-10minutes after it syncs just to be sure.

Well, im pretty sure as it says its carrying out a Sync, and then the program stops responding. Ive noticed the "determining gapless playback information" stage but am sure it did that successfully and then went on to Sync, which it usually does without issue.
