iPhone 3GS Mail

I have an iPhone 3gs, with a standard Yahoo account.

The "Mail" won't push to me every 15 mins as per the setting, it only "downloads" when I open the mail option. I have the settings set to "push" and "every 15 mins"

Is this because I don't have a Yahoo PLUS account?

Any ideas?

I take it the account set to "fetch" rather than "manual"?
