Iphone 3gs mms

Hi,

Having some trouble with sending/receiving mms on the iphone 3gs OS 3.1.

When i send one (even to myself for a test) it just stays with the 'sending' bar at around 3/4 done, so far on this test one it has been like this for 5minutes. Sometimes it will send however most of the time it just fails?

I also seem unable to receive MMS (Thats a lie, i have had one from 02 when i first got the phone saying 'MMS is now activated' with a picture)

I am NOT in a 3g area, i just have the normal GPRS, not even edge.(Tried with wi-fi as well)

When i had the k800i i could send and receive pictures no problems, even with the phone in the same position on my desk as it is now and its the same simcard.

Any ideas?

I have similar problems with my iPhone (with Simplicity, in case it matters).. It will say it has failed in sending the MMS, but I think it always gets there, some times it just takes a bit longer.

If you are on anything but the "normal" iPhone tariff make sure the server information is set to wap.o2.co.uk for MMS, not idata.o2.co.uk.

I'm using an iphone tariff. I just sent one and it took 15minutes to send then the other person received it straight away however when a friend sent me one it took me an hour to receive it!

Another friend sent me a test picture message about 55minutes ago and i've had nothing through yet.

I have 3 signal bars and the circle for GRPS.

I just got a picture message at 21:58 that i sent at 20:32

And now for some reason my battery is draining quicker than normal....infact much quicker.

Wifi - off, 3g - off...phone on 'standby' or 'lock' whatever you call it, and yet its used 13% in an hour and a half....i'm not even using it!

My last full charge before this one was saturday night!
