iPhone 3GS release dates

When did the 3GS get realeased on pay as you go? was it at the same time as contract ones? i get a feeling it came out a little later than contract but can any1 remember how long after?

It was the same time as contract ones.

in June at the end of the month I think.

It was the same day - I bought a PAYG 3GS on the 19th June last year which was launch day.

cool, i hope the 4th gen one will also be released pay as you go on the same day.

any1 camping out at the apple store?! using my backup phone is killing me, only after not using an iphone makes u realise how good it actually is

How much was 3GS PAYG on launch? Do you reckon the 4G will be similar?

3GS was 440 for 16gb and 540 for 32gb.

I think the prices haven't changed since launch bar the vat rise.

I reckon prices should be the same if not cheaper than current prices, all of the iPods have dropped in price with each new release
