Iphone 3GS ringtone directory

Peeps,
I had previously SSH'd a custom ringtone to my iPhone 3GS, but for the life of me I cannot find the directory!!!

I have googled it and the directory that has been mentioned is .Library/Ringtones however this folder doesn't contain the ringtone currently set!!
I wanted to back this file up before upgrading to 4.1.

Anyone got an idea?

Literally just did this myself as I forgot to put my custom text tone back after upgrading to 4.1 last night. Took me a while to remember and then found that the tones were not making any sound after copying, a reboot later and they were working.
