Hi All,
I was hoping someone might have some experience in the mobile broadband 3G area and might give me thoughts on this.
At work we are currently running Nokia phones and Vodafone 3G data cards (used in laptops/tablets) for our employees.
Our current phone contract is up for renewal and I am now looking at various options. One of which was to supply everyone with an iPhone 3GS, do away with the 3G data cards entirely and then use the tethering facility to connect their laptops to the internet via 3G via the iPhone.
Has anyone got any experience with this? I have been reading up on it and it seems to be simple to setup and work well. My only reservation would be that using Bluetooth to connect the laptop to the iPhone would surely limit the connection speed? Having it plugged in via USB might not be a viable options as some guys use tablets while walking around a bit.
Any advice/thoughts appreciated.
Thanks
